Gone is a collaboration between Aaron Parnell Brown and Joe Kenney. The third single on Kenney’s upcoming fourth album, "Gone" is about having the courage to walk away from an unhealthy situation. The lyrics speak to the balance between acknowledging the past value and growth that was due in part to a relationship, while recognizing that the latter is not reason enough to ignore current realities. The tune features the distinctly soulful, bluesy, and impassioned vocals of Brown, to the backdrop of a funky groove with catchy horn counter-melodies, in a track that is unique and stylistically relatable all at once. “Gone” releases on all platforms on Friday 6/26.
